Past Perfect Continuos digunakan untuk
menyatakan kejadian/aktivitas masa lampau yang sudah terjadi sebelum peristiwa
lain terjadi.
S + had + been + verb-ing + [C]
Example:
a. The police had been looking for the criminal for two years before they caught him.
b. She finally came at eight o'clock. I had been waiting for her since three-thirty.
c. When Vanny got home, her hair was still wet because she had been swimming.
d. Her eyes were red because she had been crying.
